Provisional Merit List: B.A, B.Com & B.Sc
This merit list is provisional. We have tried our best to make it free from errors. However, there may be some candidates whose name should have been in the merit list owing to their fulfillment of criteria of securing above the cut-off marks, but due to some error if their names are found missing, they should immediately contact the following conveners to rectify the error.

Admission Forms for admission to B.A/B.SC/B.COM (Honours, General &Self-Financing) Courses for the session 2012-13 will be available from 06.06.2012 to 09.06.2012 (11 am-3pm) from the distribution counters at the New Building. Duly filled in application forms will be received from 08.06.2012 to 12.06.2012 . The cost of Application Form is Rs.130/. However the cost of Application Form for Self-Financing Courses is Rs. 300/. Admission Forms may be downloaded from this site from 6th June.

I. Post Graduate :Two years P. G. Course in Physics
II. Under Graduate: Three years degree Honours Course: B.A. / B.Sc. in Day section and B.Com in Evening Section
A) Subjects offered in B.A.(Honours):Bengali, English, Hindi, Political Science, History, Philosophy, Geography, Sanskrit, Education, Urdu
B) Subjects offered in B.Sc. (Honours): Botany, Chemistry, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Zoology, Microbiology & Computer Science [Microbiology and Comp. Science are self-financing courses).
C) Subjects offered in B.Com. (Honours): Accountancy
D) Elective Subjects for B.A, B.Sc and B.Com
i) B.A: Bengali, English, Hindi, Economics, Political Science, History, Philosophy,Sanskrit, Mathematics, Urdu, Physical Education (applied for)
ii) B.Sc: Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Zoology, Statistics & Electronics (Physics Hons. & Math. Hons. students may opt either Chemistry or Electronics as one of the two Elective Subjects)
iii) B.Com: Three groups. EGR – 1, BGR – 2, AGR – 3, MGR – 4
Admission Procedure :
i) Prospectus and Application Form for admission are available from the college office on the dates notified on the notice board of the college. Forms and Prospectus could be downloaded from the College website.(Follow the link below)
ii) All Application Forms duly filled in are to be submitted by the time and date as notified on the college Notice Board.
iii) A candidate willing to have Application Form must produce his Mark sheet of the Last Examination passsed (in original).
iv) Candidates are selected for Admission strictly on the basis of merit.
v) Selected candidates must get themselves admitted within the scheduled date, failing which their admission will stand cancelled.
vi) Production of original copies of Mark sheet of the Last Examination passed & also admit card of M.P. / Equivalent examination is must at the time of Admission.
vii) Seats are reserved for SC, ST, PH and OBC candidates as per Government rule.
viii) SC / ST / OBC candidates are to produce their Caste / Tribe Certificates (in original) from the appropriate authority at the time of getting Application Forms and also at the time of Admission. Physically Handicaped candidate are to produce their Medical Certificates (in original) from SDMO / DMO at the time of getting Application Forms and also at the time of Admission.
ix) A selected candidate is required to submit two copies if his / her pass-port size photo during his / her Admission.
x) A candidate once admitted in a Section is not allowed to take transfer to other Section, unless any notice is issued by the Principal for the purpose on some genuine grounds.
xi) The Principal of the college reserves the right to rectify any mistake irregularity found in connection with admission of a candidate, even after the admission of the candidate is over.
